of state that I should immediatly retium to Hong Kong and that Telegram to that effect had been addressed to me at Singapore. I consequently returned with Mr. Deane in the 350. Mail Manner, and received from the Straits Sovernment the tilegram ordering me back - This order, I expected, would be followed by instructions providing for the refined of the
